Hey, I 've been told that the factory intercooler on the ST185 is somewhat restrictive and that the pressure may drop as much as 2psi across it. The wastegate is opened via pressure at the turbo so I'm not running 8psi at all. This being the case is it a smart move to blank off the actuator hose from the turbo and run a hose from the intake manifold to actuator and if so which hose should I tap into? Does this cause boost spikes having a longer hose? Just wondering if anyone has tried it or has any thoughts.
