Hi all. Please could someone help me out. I think my yaris has a fault with the vacuum valve. I have tried 1 from another d4d and no change. The EGR unit isnt working when i rev the engine. The car has very little power especially up hill. Could it be in limp mode?

Can we have some symptoms please rather than what you diagnosed - presumably incorrectly.

Does it start and run normally, power OK on the flat ? Is the power loss on acceleration on the flat? On the hills only? Do the revs rise up hills and you go no faster?

Until you give us more details it could be:

Turbo clapped out.

Faulty turbo control valve.

Broken vacuum pipes

Faulty clutch

etc etc.
