Alarm Off?

Hi, I have recently become the proud owner of a celica (yeayyyy!!!) but have a query please.

When I leave my son in the car when I pop into a shop, for example, I lock the car using the remote button on the key but after a few minutes the alarm goes off, deafening my son! Is there any way I can deactivate the alarm temporarily leaving someone In the car without the alarm owing off? I did not get a manual when I bought the car but am looking around for one but need to know if there is a anything I can do in the meantime.

I either leave a window open or get them to sit with the door ajar. Apart from that there is a "dog" mode, I believe where you press the button 3 times but this will double lock the doors as well so for safety reasons is not advised.

One press on the Fob activates the Alarm and Central Locking.

Two presses also activates the Dead Locks

Three presses de-activates the Interior Sensors.

So, three presses on the Fob should solve your problem :)
