Catalytic Converter

Hi all aygo lovers,

My aygo is an 07 plate and recently the engine light came on (orange), I took it to the garage and they told me it was a problem with the catalytic converter, now it looks like my aygo needs a new converter. Does anyone know how much this would cost at the garage? Or am i covered by a 7 year Toyota emissions warranty I've heard of?

It may not be the catalytic converter which would be an expensive job,

Thankyou, that was really useful! I have bought the fuel detergent today and put it in a full tank. Fingers crossed it does some good! If not I'll take it back to the garage and get both the sensors checked.
