Headlights And Other Lights On 2007 Avensis

The headlights dont seem bright enough on my Avensis. On eBay they are selling sets which claim to be far superior to the standard bulbs fitted. Would you advise I get a new set or do Toyota do a brighter set??

I bought xenon filled bulbs with a blue tinge at local motor parts dealer. These are not the xenon Balast type, just repalcmants for the Halogen filled.. They give a briighter and whiter light. Cost about £20 a pair. I also lifted up the beams on the adjustment as they were set low even on the 0 setting.

Get some Osram Nightbreakers from any of the usual sources, very good replacement bulbs offering superb light

The Philips Xtreme Power/Vision bulbs are also very good.

My experience with my 2007 Avensis is that the light inside the beam area will improve dramatically but don't expect a big improvement in beam range (I suspect that this is a lens design issue).
