In our area its mainly Saxos the boy racers drive - although you see a lot of young lads in Ford KA's round here too!

Hardly any Yarii about here, which is why I bought one, as hardly anyone else round here does!

We are in Peugeot 206 territory, so there are loads of those (we are about 7 miles from the PSA Peugeot Citroen plant in Coventry where the 206 is made), so lots of locals have 206's - my bloke included!

There are loads of Yarii around our area. Where I work, the other day I pulled into the car park and counted at least 6 Yaris. What can I say there great cars to drive.

But i didnt buy one because Clarkson goes on about them...

I bought mine to be unique!

And then after I bought mine, people I know of bought them too, so I was no longer unique!

I am now a trend-setter! :D lol

This has been an interesting read...

I remember first seeing the Yaris when it came out and we were sat in the Yaris in our local Toyota dealership (we got a Corolla instead...), I distinctively remember being amazed at the space inside the Yaris... anyway it was this recollection and the fact that our family has owned Toyota's/other Jap cars for ages... that made me go for the Yaris not because of what others have told me but I get what you are saying... it is a unique car and should stay that way!
