D4D 2.2 Litre 2004 Engine Light?

I posted nearly a year ago when the pesky engine management light came on. It is still on.

The car still does 4.2 litres to 100 kilometers so it's quite economical - approx 70mpg and has no apparent problem or lack of power.

My two yearly equivalent of an MOT is coming up and I want that pesky warning light gone - how do I get rid of it ?

Will my car have a DPF? I am concidering cleaning it.

If the car has been running ok for a year with the management light on there can`t really be a fault so only needs the error code removing.

Try disconnecting the Battery.
