96 Toyota Celica Gt4 Problem

Hello everyone i just got a 96 celica gt4 with 77k stock with a turbo timer, Car is running great so far, have a few problems that i hope you guys can help me out with, When i really give it gas with my foot down it seems as if the engine stops accelerating and starts to putter, so i cant really accelerate too fast. Im not to sure if its the turbo or what? if anyone could help me that would be great :)

also i was told the fugure 8 bushing is gone?

Check for leaks from hoeses leading to intercooler or turbo any leak or busted hoes will cause the car to splutter, only other experience i had with this was when Battery went flat the car had to relearn its self so will splutter and not rev past 4-5k because its in safe mode a reset of ecu hurrys the process up and can be done by removing 3 fuses two in front cable one in engine bay.
