2012 Avensis Satnav Voice

Hi,

I've the proud owner of a brad new Avensis D-Cat Executive with the Touch and go satnav unit.

As far as i understand toyota now uses TomTom software on their units.

The satnav voice however drives me nuts, and i would really like to intstall one of the other available tomtom voices.

(I want the voice instructions active, just replace the voice.)

Is there any way to do this? I guess it has to be done while installing an update, and then replace the voice file before installing in the car.

Any tips guys??

And one more thing. Is it possible to "download" or upgrade my unit to show the guidelines on the reverse-camera? It is shown in the manual, but the dealer tells me it's not available on my model.

Hi,

The new Touch & Go is iGO based, and so far there is no way to replace files on it.
