Hi I have the 4E-FE 1.3 '98 Corolla, and as many ppl know there is no tachometer (rev counter) in the car  . I was thinking of adding an after market one like this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...&category=36681

But I dont have a clue if the rolla has the wires and where the wires are located in order to connect it, any help will be much appreciated!

thanks!

Generally installing an aftermarket tachometer involves connecting two wires. A ground wire and a tachometer wire. In some cars the tachometer wire connects to the coil, on some it'll connect to the ignition switch. It depends on the actual tachometer.

I hope this helps...

Thanks! i think i'll go to my local toyota dealer, showing them a pic of your dials Asif, and ask em if its possible, if it is i'll ask for a price which most likely will be obsurd, then i'll ring around a few breaker yards and ask if they are breaking any rollas
