Buying Tips

Hey,

Finally gonna buy a T-Sport at beginning of May, and gonna start looking around soon. Going for a second hand 2001 model probably.

Looking to spend no more than £8000 - tho looking around 2001 models usually go for under £7500.

Just want any tips when looking for one. For example, dodgey alloys as I hear they are a problem. Any other common problems that I should check before buying?

Can't wait! Already got the buz in my stomach. Also, seen one on autotrader for £6500 with only 16000 miles. Seems bit dodgey to me.

Test The Stoping Power and Fade At Speed, and Check for juddering whislt doing so

Listen closely to the motor at 4000rpm+ see if its sounds rough, my last service (20K) was a little late and she was starting to sound a little sick but shes fine now

Oh and you could check for rattles but I think we have all ended up with them in the end :ffs:
