hi all. i currently have a 98 corolla sr 1.6 insured with admiral but need to change as i have mods on the car. i was told liverpool victoria would have covered me but they have decided not to now, for some unknown reason

i'm 17, corolla sr, with back box and induction kit, so who else will insure me, in my dads name

would the toc insurance scheme work or am i too young. need suggestions quickly as renewal date is next week

i won't be insuring in my name, and CIS are by far the cheapest i've found (out of the usual tesco, liverpool victoria, more than etc) . unsure on what their views on mods are.

CIS are ok with mods as long as they are not performance enhancing, so anything else bar your exhaust and induction kit wont affect the premium.

go to www.theaa.co.uk and go to their motoring/insurance section, you get quite cheap quotes, and u can contact them and ask if they allow mods...

Whats with UK insurance? Here it doesnt raise crap unless you put so much into your car. Even without claiming every lil mod they cover it still. Whats up with that?
