Hello

Enjoying the new motor and drove it for the first time at night yesterday.

All's well and am impressed with all the various courtesy lights as well as the main lights.

Bit miffed at the mock LEDs at the front (why do they do this??)

I was also alarmed at the bright light in the central lighting console in the roof.

What is that light?

Doh! It's to shed light on the gear lever (et al).

Why do they do this? I find it distracting.

Is it customisable? i.e. can I turn it off???

Steve

Nope - it's there to illuminate the gear-shift. If you wan to turn it off, try stuffing a lump of blu-tak over the LED :)
