T-Sport bashing....!

I've owned two Yaris, and owned the very first one on my island, so I am a huge fan. I'm also going to go and chop in my well-loved SR for a T-Sport in July.

Now, please correct me if I'm wrong or if this has already been said a long time ago; but, there is something that has niggled at me ever since the Yaris T-Sport arrived here..........................

WHY OH WHY did they decide to replace the perfectly nice and subtle switchgear for out-of-place silver switches???!!!! And WHY OH WHY did they choose to get rid of the easy, clear and interesting electronic speedo???!!!! This has actually put me off buying one, even though this may seem stupid, because I just could not stand to look at that for more than 2 seconds.

It just annoys me that they spoilt a perfectly cracking car, by unnecessary styling changes. Sometimes things can't be improved you know!

Phew! I feel better after that (!), and will probably provoke abuse from T-Sporters, but I think I have a point...? Or does anyone actually like it?

Let me know.

I may even be tempted to wait until later in the year to see if the T-Sport Turbo is any friendlier on the eyes - more friendly to the ears undoubtedly!

btw. my dealer's agreed to change my switchgear, as I guess he didn't fancy losing out on a cheque for 10.5k! nice bloke.
