My radio shifts from stereo to mono and from balanced left/right to right only at will without help from me. One minute everything is balanced then off it goes...any ideas it is only four years old.

If only it were that easy..I had the door cards off and removed the radio, nothing is Amis, all connections are good and there are no trapped wires...as a matter of course I removed the Parrot MKI 9000 phone kit, this was plumbed in with a manufactured wiring kit not spliced so should not be the problem. Everything was put back minus the Parrot and the problem is still there, so it is not the kit. Luckily for me the car has an extended warranty so it might have to go to Toyota for a replacement to be fitted.
