Wrapping

Has anyone had their Rav paint wrapped to either change it's colour refresh it's look? Im wondering what price I should expect to pay/budget for and will it be cheaper than getting any door dinks, scratched or scuffs done.

I think a full wrap runs into 4 figures, so very unlikely to be cheaper then getting scratches and scrapes sorted out. Plus you put a wrap on a panel with a ding and it will follow the contour of the ding (same as if you painted over one) so not really a way to cover them up I would think.

In terms of an end result, seen some wrapped cars which have looked really smart, especially one I saw in Amsterdam - think it was an Aston with a flat black wrap. Waaayyyy cool!

David (Davrav), has had the front of his Rav, done with 3m Ventureshield. Don,t know anybody thats had their Rav wrapped ie to change the colour. Would think that would be very costly.

I was watching a Audi R8 on Youtube going from black to white the other day and the cost was not just "pocket money"

There is another option compared to either painting or wrapping .... Plastic coating.

Not seen this personally myself, just videos of it being done, but the end result looks intriguing (no idea how it really looks up close!)
