just bought a megan racing strut brace for my celica t-sport.

any advice when fitting it.

how tight should i tighten the bar to the top mount fixings?

will it make the steering any heavier when at low speed or stationary?

noticeable differences?

should the mounts be sitting completely flush against the bodywork?

(the attatched image is not my car, but it has the same strut brace)

Just use common sense when doing them up. You can snap them if over done, so don't be heavy handed.

Steering will be fine, it will tighten up the handling, but don't forget that your car is not a race built car, so it the difference won't be mind blowing!

Fortunately, you have a face lift TS with the smaller Battery, just take care not to touch the terminals. IIRC, I had to saw off part of the Battery Clamp to accommodate the Megan, but now have an APC fitted.
