first i want to say hello.

then some questions:

do you have a 3 or 5 door auris?

can you open the door from outside?

i know that the rear doors have a child safety.when you open the door you can pull a stick, when it is activated,i cannnot opened from inside.good, when you have younger children on the rear seats.

i dont know if this function is also available on the front passenger door.

maybe you can take a look on your car and find what i mean.

or you have to wait for other hints.but try to answer the questions.

Check the child-protector lock, maybe you activated it by mistake...

As it is the right hand passenger door - it has to be a five door. In which case the child protection lock has probably been activated

Just been carting my grand children about. The little darlings could not open the rear doors. Thought of leaving them, but found that the child lock was on.
