What Colour ?

ok.. so I recently had a respray to super red II.

But just before show season and when I get my new bumper I want a new colour also !

I need some suggestions.. something unique.. something different.. something eye catching.

Any ideas ??

I'm saving at the mo' for the TRD2000GT kit and contemplating which colour myself! Have you found yourself driving past cars thinking 'what about that?'!!!

Sad eh?! I'm going for either very dark solid grey. The same as what they use for the new Audi's. Won't be a while yet. Got a bit of saving to do!

I saw a tubby in satin black and it looked the b*llocks. No gloss paint. Really showed off the shape of the car. I'll try and get hold of a pic.

On the High Octane 2 DVD that was free with some car mag a couple of months ago, they fit the TRD widebody kit onto an mr2.

They undercoat it grey (like the new audis) and I think it looked better grey than when they put the gold pearl on.

Worth a look...

Look at the rage website, they have colour charts and bits on there.

Not had much time free to post owt, had a quick look in every now and then tho.

just read ur other post on the border bumper also.

u got a full respray, a new bumper etc, then decided u didnt like it, and r now gonna switch.

erm... guess i better stay on topic here and answer ur question...

basically what look do u wanna end up with?

TF&TF / boy racer - BRIGHT colurs like orange / green / pink etc. (no offence to yellow mr2's!)

sophisticated - plain sorta colour with a metallic look.

stealth - black. need i say more?

current trend(?) - the flip's & rage etc.

pimpin - shiny, **** loads of gloss, maybe a black again, or similar.

guess they weren't prolly the best explanations, but i know what i mean in my head , lol

And kinda staying on topic i was just about to book in for a full respray, but the border bumper group-buy looks nice...

Only problem is then ima havta get skirts etc also b4 i get respray, hehe.

Ok I reakon a nice icey blue silver like the pic posted sometime in the last 2 weeks somewhere on the board.

With regards to the Highoctane dvd's.....I can help out via pm if there to expensive over there, I OWN 2,3,&4 and can get 1...5 is out soon...overboost. Someone get a price for it in the UK.

some people aren't gonna like this....

I think I'm gonna go for a mad bright yellow colour with black decal/bits.

For example black side bits to the rev5 spoiler. Black centre bit of the rev5 spoiler. Will either go for carbon fibre bonnet or get bonnet painted black. Black mesh.

Not sure what else tho... always like yellow cars... I know alot of peeps here don't !!

Does anyone know of a yellow they've seen which looks good on a car ??

what you think of the above plans ?? Also yellow or red calipers with some better bigger blinging alloys.

The Yellow on that pic in your other post with the Border bumper is lush. Think it's a Ferrari yellow or something.

I saw a really nice metallic bronze sort of colour on a Pugeot 307 the other day, thought that was really nice.

Otherwise get yourself some paint strips from Rage, their paints will blow you away. I saw one of their strip whcih was a black with a silver flip and it was gorgeous.

BTW I bought all the High Octane DVD's from their website! Delivered to UK...

carbon bonnet and carbon middle section for the rev5 will be there eventually. But in the mean time.. black coloured bits.
