well I finally managed to afford the Lexus, but had to sell my car with all its mods... so I'm now 2.5-3 secs slower on the 1/4... !!! eek!

Oh well, Im sure in time it will improve... just a shame i have no cash for ANY mods...

Got my bimmer upto 360bhp and 1100kg... 10.5 1/4 mile... but I've set my mechanic to uninstall ALL my parts over the next few days... Gonna get me a Lotus Elise I reckon, strengthen the engine, whack on a blower... the power to weight will be phenomenal if she don't blow up

Nope, earnt money bit by bit in the Bimm Bimm... got £11,000 back for the car minus mods. Sold the supercharger and bought an Elise for £13,000. You can make £1000 a day racing the 'puter at level 60+!

The elise has been turbo'd and intercooled since you raced her last :P

270bhp, 526kg, full down force, 1.15 on the skid pan, 308kmh top end!

Oh, and it was 11.20 over the quarter yesterday... now it's 10.3! :D Officially faster than the bimmer in a straight line! How much BHP you got out of your GS300 so far?

My GS has about 300bhp, but is weighing 1100kg...

1/4 is about 12 secs! (only up to level 40 on race the puter!)

You got a lot for the BMW then, I sold my civic with all the mods for 14k.. which was probably the mistake i made, i had to start from scratch with a 15/16 sec car!

You get more money by uninstalling parts first and selling'em seperate... the downside is the time... it took 2 days to uninstall parts. Bought the Elise. Took another 2 days to re-fit them all to the Lotus :/

Why do I get the feeling our 1/4 mile race is a little predictable...

However, Im not one to turn down a race... as long as i can afford it!

I dont know...

1150kg (as light as i can go) and over 300bhp, cant crack the 11sec barrier!!!

Well, Im gonna take your advice SR, im uninstalling all the parts from my car (gonna take about 40 hours!!!) and then go shopping for something new...

But what car to get????:blink:

Oh, and SR, to make 1k a day on race the computer, i reckon you've paid for the full account!!! no wonder you leapt ahead in the performance stakes!!!

Just gone from 279bhp to 309bhp with the 513kg Lotus... and dropped from 10.2 to 9.7! Ditch the weight and the power counts double!

(which is why I want a carbon bonnet for the yaris!)

Race the computer every day! I'm getting about £1800 a day now at level 145...

Here's the Lotus...

2001 Lotus Elise

Displacement 1.8 Litre

Horsepower 552 (122 stock)

Lateral Acceleration 1.29g (0.95 stock)

Braking 44.4 km/h/s (26.4 km/h/s stock)

Weight 542 kg (700 kg stock)

Top Speed 382 km/h (230 km/h stock)

Excess Engine Strength 6

That's as fast as she's gonna get. I had to take the big blower off to fit the 150bhp nitrous shot...
