I have just ready your profile.

The problem you have is that the REV2 Turbo has got an AFM (air Flow meter) and this maxes out at anything above 15psi, causing the injectors to run on 100% duty and therefore overfuelling badly.

i will explain more if you e-mail me

;)

Don't understand about the 15psi limit .. caust with a G-valve I could get well over 15psi ??

Ben

Its not a 'limit' but when you start boosting above 15 psi, the injectors are running on 100% as the AFM cant cope with the amount of air rushing into the induction side, so by the time the air reaches the throttle body, the injectors are running 100% so over fuelling the combustion chambers and not firing properly. Turbo will in effect loose 'puff' and will probably drop to around 0.85 bar, so about 12 psi.

<_<

I know about the boost drop (seen it and felt it on the G-valve).

I'll pump in those figures you gave and let everyone know ..

I thought 90% duty was a smidge high .. but 1.1 bar aint too shabby .. the TT this morning was quite taken aback :)

Was it a twin exhaust or a single exhaust.

God I miss not having a car!!!! :ffs: :ffs:

Punch those figures in an see what happens. When I had my car on the Hybrid stage 2. It would constantly sit on 1 bar all the way up to the rev limiter. 7250 and I was still at 1 bar.

Give me a shout if any problems fella.

Dan
