so I will have to wire it up to the switches on the drivers side? is that safe? will I need to put some diodes/relays in to stop it from sending the power the wrong way

yes and yes

do it from the drivers side as its a master control over the whole system

why are you gonna have a problem with it?

cos there is a button on the controls that deactivates the passenger side window controls

i assume this is for a full closure system??

if so then just connect the window roll up lead to the output of the locking switch, in that case the system will still close it up but will also be able to disable any manual operation

HI

The problem you will have in fitting a window rollup unit is the drivers side! The power will go into the door to the switch then straight to the window motor! So getting a connection will be very difficult. The passanger side is easy!

The only reason I say that is ive looked at fitting one to the misses t sport as I fitted one in her last car and now keeps forgetting to close the windows! Ill look into it further and let you know what I can figure out!
