Avensis 2008 5Dr D4D Rear Brakes

Hi all

Just need some info about the rear brakes on my 5dr Avensis 2008 D4D. Are they pads or discs it's the T150 version if that's any help.

The Avensis has rear discs and pads but also has small brake shoes which work inside a small brake drum that is part of the rear disc assembly, hope this helps but as you needed to ask I assume you won't be doing any work yourself.

Thanks Pete and no I won't be replacing them myself but the guy doing it needed the info.

Anybody on here got photos of the said rear brakes by any chance please?

1 thing to watch is that the 2.2s have different wheel hubs from all other engine sizes so different discs.

There should be a thread on changing discs in 1 of the forums.
