Pdi Treatment

Just got a product to use on my new Corolla T3, when it finally arrives, sometime in June, and it says the car is to receive full PDI treatment prior to application. I assume that PDI stands for Prior Defect Inspection. Am I correct or does it stand for something else?

dave 5282 is right as to what pdi stands for,

what it means 4 u is the car has to be fully valeted

i.e polished as when u put that stuff u got on if u got

any faults in paint such as scratchs/dirty marks/finger prints

will b sealed in cos its a paint sealant.

hope that helps

A pre delivery inspection is basically like a service (used to sell trucks), it means every thing is checked (hopefully) so that when you take delivery, everything is mechanically sound and all neccessary levels are correct, as well as the obvious cosmetic appearance.

make sure that you check the obvious yourself. ie tyre pressures arent still at 50psi and the engine oil isnt over the max level. the monkeys at nottm inchape never did mine but funnily enough the tick boxes on the forms said they did. i asked them if it was just negligence or just falisfying records as well.

guess what - they couldnt answer that
