TTE springs are just re-badged Eibach springs so if u can fine Eibachs cheaper get them! I think ur better 2 get a garage to fit them cos its quite complicated and 30mm is 3cm so just take a look at a ruler!

I'm goin 4 Koni dampers and GMAX springs btw!

Cheers

Well if u want to adjust ur damping rate (make them super hard or soft) u need dampers! And eventually if u put springs on standard dampers u will f**k ur standard dampers and will need new 1's anyway!

I've been quoted £560 for the koni's and the GMAX springs fitted so its quite expensive! This will drop my car 60mm.

If ur gonna sell ur car in a year or 2 go 4 it!

Cheers

Ryan, envyperformance will blow that price into the weeds! Knock £150 off and you're almost down to what I paid for a full set of Koni adjustables with Koni springs!

so not a good idea just to use the tte lowering springs without dampers??

is it worth gettin lowering springs tho for now? whas a good price for the tte ones? or similar kind?

I think TTE (Eibach) springs don't require the shocks to be replaced unless the lowering is more then 30mm...at least on the Corolla...

dannyb,

tte springs dont need shocks changing on the yaris work perfect &

the rides great, also tte springs brought from dealer will not effect your

warranty cos they are toyotas own parts,

tte springs are made by Eibach but are slightly different made to tte

specifacation

Do i understand right?

Koni dampers will lower yaris more when you put them and as in example GMAX lowering springs.?

I have at this moment GMAX lowering springs and i'm really satisfied with them but back of the car is still upper than front of the car.. :(

Thanks for help guys!

:hokus-pokus:

The only difference in specification between the TTE and Eibach Pro-Kit springs is the name printed on them...

They are the exact same springs.

You can use them with your stock dampers. Most people do.

But of course.... a set of Konis (or other shortened dampers) would make the ride even better.

Here are the replies I received from TTE and Eibach respectively regarding my question about spring rates for the Yaris.

Dear Mr. xxxxx xxxxxx,

the spring rates for the Toyota Yaris Pro-Kit 82 60 40 are:

front C = 20,5 N/mm

rear C = 18 N/mm

Best regards i. A. Manfred Brings mbrings@eibach.de

Dear Mr. xxxxxx,

Spring rates are as follows: 18 N/mm rear 20,5 N/mm front

Kind regards, Florian Bachus Florian.Bachus@toyota-f1.com

Coincidence? I think not.

Before putting the Eibachs on my car, I had the chance to compare them side by side to their TTE counterparts. They match. Only the Badge differs.

My 0,02 $ ;)

well it seems like the tte and Eibach are the same but they wont

admit it! as my mate says(service manager at toyota) if something

goes wrong with Eibach springs fitted toyota can refuse to repair it,

where as tte are a recomended toyota part toyota would have no

problem repairing car under warranty.

now thats my 2peneth worth ;) :P
