Older Yaris No Boot Light..

As you lot who have the older yaris know, there is no boot/hatch light,

The interior light in the car comes on but thats no use for ilumination of the boot/hatch area,

So, can I connect a wire from the switch in the hatch that activates the interior light,

If so,where do I find it?

Hey, you're lucky if you have a switch on the hatch that operates the interior light - on our old 2000 Yaris there's nothing!!

Our solution was to stick one of those Battery operated LED 'puck' lamps under the hatch parcel shelf - works well.

OK, you don't have the convenience of it coming on automatically, but you can see what you're doing in the boot!!!
