Quickest T Sport

whats the quickest that any 1 have gone in their t sport i was going up to tenby on the bank holiday weekend and i suprised myself i have a 52 plate t sport and its done 20k i had it brand new i have got a HKS super power flow air filter and a HKS silent hi power exhaust. my mate has a 215 bhp golf turbo so we started to play on the motoway he passed me at a 100 so i put my foot down and i took my car off the clock and my maste could not belive it i was by the side of him and we were doing 130 i was very suprised my car did that i have photos to prove it on my phone have any 1 else done any speeds like taht in their t sports? :D

Unserious mode: Dude! Sweet! How did it feel at that speed? Composed? or like it was shakin apart?

Serious mode: tut tut, and i sure hope it wasnt u takin photo's wiv your phone. fiddling wiv your phone at 130! very dangerous.

also watch out for these new spec ops systems poppin up over the country. they are so small and undedectable by radar dedectors. goodbye liscence if you ain't careful.

thats the first time i have ever did that speed when i was driving mate and it felt really good knowing that a 1.5 t sport would do 130 mph+

I once had my yaris T-sport off the clock...and thats without any mods. It was a private stretch of road of course. It felt pretty stable but i was still sh*tting incase a big gust of wind knocked me off course....bye bye life.....very dangerous at that sort of speed!

yeah first day i had my T sport it was off the clock (about 125 i reckon) and thats standard!

.....Oh and this was on my own private race track of course :P

I decided to be all sensible and get me a Yaris (1.3 SR) and stop driving fast everywhere, and now I want a T sport!

Think mine only does about 113 (err, I have a very long driveway) - but I suppose that's not too bad for an unmodded 1.3?

Tbh your not really ever gonna go over a tonne unless your are a real nutter. On most days you could probably only get 90 on the motorway due to traffic. And with all these new speed cams poppin up over the motorways I wouldn't want to be doing 113 let alone 130.

its all about how fast you can ge taway from people. not how fast you can actually go.

well i have only a one litre but they are quite nippy enough as my mum who was with me one day thought I was going at 70mph even though I was only doing 35mph :D

plus I was passing out a tractor or lorry and this ford escort really old was right behind me but as soon as i passed the tractor and it got behind me I put the boot down and I was gone and the escort couldnt be seen in the distance.My sister said it to me

normal t sports cant go any faster than 130 mph only way they could go faster would be with 17 inch wheels on them, but the Turbo T sports have a different 5th gear so they can go faster than 130 mph but i dont know exactly what they limit at in 5th gear.
