2008 Avensis Bonnet Stay Clip

I am hoping someone can point in the direction of a diagram or some photos.

I have a 2008 avensis estate and when I bought it there was no clip for the bonnet stay arm, I have just purchased the clip, but I am still missing a part as there is nothing under the rectangle hole in the engine cover for it to fix to.

Should there be a bracket that fixes to the chassis or is there a bracket that fixes to the two holes near where the clip should be.

Any advice and info would be appreciated.

Hello mate I think you will need to remove the plastic covers above the radiator to fit the plastic clip, here are a couple of diagrams just click on them to enlarge.

Thanks for the diagram, managed to get the new clip on even if it was a bit tight
