Hi,

Whats the deal on these pads? I had some on my rolla Gti,but I think they have caused the discs to warp[black Diamond Discs]. Anybody on here have any bad experience with these pads.Which would be the best alternative?

Thanx in advance ;)

Cheers

Ant

There was a thread on HERE about Black Diamond discs that had warped. I would doubt very much if pads had caused it ;)

Thanx guys.I have now ordered the EBC Greenstuff pads and Black Diamond discs and some new Toyo Proxes on the way to be fitted this week. Fingers crossed the discs will last longer this time. ;)

Cheers

Sorry mate, I am confused. If you have had bad experience with this combination, why try again risking the damage all over?

If I were you, I would go with the EBC pads and try a set of EBC discs - perfect match

I bought my brakes off www.fensport.co.uk kevlar pads, been on about 18month with some seriously hard braking and they are still fine!!!

Used to have white rims, every time i went out the rims came back black!!

They are crap when the are clod with cold tyres but when they warm up they are unreal.

The thing is,when there were no probs I thought the setup was really great. I had the front brakes removed to replace the calipers and afterwards it just didn't seem the same. It wasn't causing me any problem so I just carried on :( .
