Is 22lb considered "light" for 17" rims?

Spied some decent ones on eBay that are priced okay.

oz rims 17" rims are listed as 15 lbs

22/2.2 = 10kgs

so no not really!

lookin at roughly 6-7kgs for a 'light rim

and as low as 4.5 for super light! but for super money!

the MR2 is listed as 14.5/15 (front/rear) - 15" (lbs)

the MR-S is 14.6/15.2 ..

i'd like to look at the weights of the orig mr2 @ 14" & 15".

Then when i upgrade to 17's ima try and keep the weight the same.
