The front lenses on my @97 mister 2 are looking a liitle yellowy. They are the original lenses supplied with the car.

Has anyone any idea how to clean them, or take them off even.

The yellow might not be dirt, some clear plastics turn yellow in the sunlight. Hopefully not yours.....

From rogue systems are those the rev 6 lights? Soon as i saw those i wanted them. Once i did a Us currency conversion i almost e-mailed to swear at them. Is it just me or do they really cost about 500 american. Anyone know where i can get them much cheaper also?

Doesnt the paint peel off on colour coded strut braces?... mine is and its thestock black.

You might want to consider buying the diamond clear corners.

$500 is a good price..

They are made over here and you have to pay out on a custom job on a less than mass produced car!

What you really want are these...

I don't have a Strut brace and feel left out! Does it make a considerable difference to the car? Did they come as standard on N/A mr2s ? Has someone pinched mine?!

Every MR2 has them or you would suffer from serious twisting from the chassis.

You dont have bars crossing your engine bay?

Its part of the structure...

I have the original MR2 cutaway brocure that shows it... but its at my g/f's house.

OK.

My Mk2 n/a has a strut brace at the front under the bonnet and the cross strut under over the engine.

Is this a wind up?

Don't know if it's similar in any way but the Sera headlights do the same thing.

They can be restored with T-cut though. If it's on the inside too then you should be able to remove the lens.

There are instructions on how to do all of this at www.toyotasera.co.uk.

(all of the above is dependant on your lights being a similar construction, though. )
