Yaris Mk1 Wheel Offset And Width Thread

Or are everyone driving Mk3s these days..

I'm trying to establish how wide wheels you can actually run without them poking or hitting the coilovers.

My Verso with 7Jx16 ET35, the arches swallowed these wheels too well:

Same car with 9Jx16 ET15, poked a lot. 205 or 215/40-16, can't recall:

The fronts are 7.5J ET35 195/40-16. I never measured the distance inwards to the coilover out back. The fronts never rubbed on the outside at full lock lowered:

I would imagine 8s out front and back, with an offset of about 30 and then spaced out if needed would be the the best solution. I need to know how much clearance there is inwards. Looking at 8Jx16 or 17 front 9Jx16 or 17 out back, Work Eurolines would be dope on this car..
