Apexi Rev/speed Meter

I bought one of these about a month ago, however I need the money back now for petrol!

The unit is in perfect working condition, it has light scratches on the front surface.

It measures 1/4 mile times, 0-100 km/h, 0-200 km/h, 0/300 km/h or any range you specify. It also acts as a trip meter, tachometer and speedometer. It can display these numerically, as dial(s) or in a time-graph.

Note that this does NOT include the optional G-sensor, you can buy this for around £30 from online shops I think. The G-unit allows power/bhp measurements and of course front/back and left/right G force readings.

If you require the manual and wiring diagram then I can also supply this free of charge on CD, although these are also available on Apexi's website!

I will add pictures soon.

Price is £90 including FREE delivery within the UK (These units retail for £150 brand new without the G-sensor). Please also note that I can only accept direct bank transfer to my Natwest account cos I need the money asap... (or cash if you want to collect, I'm in NW2 London)

Please PM or email me on the address below. I will reply asap.

Thanks for looking... saliya[at]tiscali.co.uk

Just downloaded the manual & it looks like you gotta mess about with the ECU?

The 5E engines aren't listed either... Although the 4E's are...

Didn't notice this post - I fancy one of these things instead of gauges now. :)

I wonder who it was sold too

And it's well easy to install

97paseo You can do it in about 20-30 mins just depends on where your ecu is

looks like that RSM is changing hands pretty quick then! lol. IF anyone is gonna get one then id highly recommend getting a G-sensor thingy. Practically half the manual s devoted to messing around with it's settings and features.

97paseo - its easy as pie to install. the hardest part is routing the wiring really. Usually theres only 4 wires to connect, unless you wanna elminate a speed cut - Ignition Power, Ground, Speed and Tach. After installing mine the only note id like to point out is that the conenction diagrams are viewed from the rear of the connecter, i.e. the side where the wires go in. This may seem obvious but im used to plugs viewed from the socket side and it confused me for a good half an hour!

Ta Deus,

Main problem is there's no 5E series engines listed in the manual! I'm hoping someone will have a diagram of a 5EFE ECU to help out!

Any ideas where you can buy just the G Sensor? I've seen them without for £160 & with for £190 but the one's on e-bay don't have them... :(

I'd like to try & mount it to look as good as this: B)
