Hi

My avensis 2004 hatch had a problem with the driver side 4 way window switch in that it would not work. It would only work to wind down easily but then i had to fight with it to wind the window back up. It would not work to lower/windup the other 3 windows. So i got a replacement but cand figure out how to replce the new for the old one. Do i need to take out the door panel or just prop the old switch out?

Thanks

No need to take door panel off , use a flat screwdriver or butter knife and lever out the switchbase and then disconnect the connector. It is only held in place by a spring clip.
