Guys

I need help. I recently hit a donkey with my toyota corrolla and had the following problem -

when i shift the gear lever to neutral it will be reverse on the dashpot, when i shift to drive on the lever it will be neutral on the dashpot , when i shift to 2 on the lever it will be drive on the dashpot, when i shift to 2L on the lever it will be 2 on the dashpot and now cannot get 2L on the lever anymore. the automatic transmission is okay . guys anyone who can help me how to solve this problem email me on achirimubwe@gmail.com.

sounds like the switch in the transmission lever is broken or out of place. remove the trim and check it out to see if it has broken inside
