So you are agreeing that you were wrong, and a Std Lupo can beat a Std Yaris, without any trouble.

Phew!

Just cause you overtake a car or pull out of a roundabout faster than another car dosesn't necessarily mean your car is quicker, unless its a Punto GT (in joke Lupo drivers will get). I used to drive an Evo as a second car and every second twit in a remotely fast car tries to overtake/undertake or out pull me going out of roundabouts and I used to let everyone of them past as I know if I race people on public roads I will eventually end up damaging the car, I'd rather save it for track/drag days! (There's probably tons of people round my way thinking there car is the dogs dangly bits as they managed to out pace an Evo!) Eventually sold it as it got so annoying!

No no actually I think most people who drive Lupo GTIs also like the Yaris TSport.... its just a question of saying the Yaris was quicker... when it clearly isnt.

I think the Yaris is a great car - but I love my Lupo and its very quick

but i only want to get on, I think its more about cold hard fact. The Lupo GTI is quicker that a Yaris T Sport. If you read back on previous post people were saying it wasnt true, we came to clean up your facts!

We can still all be friends :) Come and see our gathering at GTI International

Whats so good about the lupo gti then? Only ever seen a couple on the roads noticed that it had red brake calipers thats about it, I know bugger all about VW's apart from the VW beetle (not the :censor: new one)

I've had quite a few cars that were considerably quicker than the Loop but it is still a hoot to drive, probably cause of the Bhp in a car with such a small wheel base, i bought it cause it was rare and I hoped it would hold it's value, only ever seen one other one on the road! It is best on motorways in traffic for darting in and out of traffic as it doesn't have the shear grunt of a proper quick sports car which is needed on open A class roads(dropping on coilovers makes it handle really well though!) Has a nice 6 speed box which means its easy to keep the engine on the boil, is really solid, if it had saxo build quality it would probably be twice as fast!

Best thing about it is if you overtake a beemer, vectra or mondeo they automatically try and catch them up as it must give them an inferiority complex been overtaken by a small city car!

Worst thing is theres very little choice in the way of aftermarket tuning parts( I suspect the same with the Yaris T-sport)!
