1992 Toyota Camry Questions...

I have an oppourtunity to buy a 1992 Camry 4cyl auto.

Mileage unkown, but probably around 150,000 km.

Price: $4000 CAD (can probably negotiate a little cheaper)

I don't really know much about the car as this is one my mom found.

I currently drive an '89 Mazda 626 that is more than beat up (she's had a rough life).

I'm just looking for general info on Toyota's, Camry's, and 1992 Camry's.

Reliability, driveability, etc.

Anything you could tell me, or anywhere you could point me would be great.

Thanks!

I wouldn't buy this car. It is not the normal toyota reliability, but abnormal.

I have a '92 Camry with about 155,000 miles on it and it runs fine. The only thing I've had trouble with is the header pipe, and it's been fine. I got it with about 115,000 on it and it's be fine for me. Not too hard to put Speakers in the door panels. Haven't trtried in the back. I have subs in thetruck, only problem with that is that the carpet is glued down pretty well, so I can't hide the wires under anything other then the seats and feet carpets (wrong term, but I had a brain freeze). Trunk rattles a little bit with Subs in it. Thats about all I can say. Hope it helped.
