hi to all again and a belated happy new year i have just had the steering rack done on the recall and have been informed by mr t that i have loose baffels in the exhaust back box and i also have a slightly frayed drive belt not wanting to pay the likes of kwik fit £123+vat for the privalidge of doing the exhaust as the part is only £50 on car parts 4 less and the drive or i bileve its called the serpintine belt is about a tenner any advice on doing these two jobs myself i would be greatful thanks again to all on this supurb forum.

Leave the exhaust until eithe,,

A, it fails the MOT

B, it starts to rattle or blow excessively

C, give me the money and I can pretend i fitted a new one as you would not notice any difference anyway

As for the aux drive belt, easy job to replace
