Snow-Covered Audi Pictured Driving Along M4 Motorway

A particularly moronic motorist has been spotted driving along the M4 motorway, having only cleared a tiny slot in the snow covering the windscreen so they could see.

The dunce of a driver’s Audi A4 was snapped by a fellow road user between junctions 28 and 29 between Newport and Cardiff, south Wales.

Said to have been travelling at around 70mph, the prattish pilot hadn’t bothered to do much in the way of preparation before setting off on their journey at the weekend.

And despite raising laughs and scorn in equal measure when the picture was shared on social media networks, the driver has been roundly criticised – and could even be prosecuted for breaking the law.

According to police advice for driving in treacherous conditions, it is an offence to take to the road with obscured vision. Motorists are also advised to clear all snow from the top of their vehicle before departing in case it falls onto either the front or rear windscreen – but that’s a fair few steps ahead for this fool…

Witnesses described the driver as ‘an irresponsible idiot’ and said he was endangering other road users with his actions.

Careful: Drivers have been warned about the conditions

‘Someone could easily have been killed,’ said one. ‘He could barely see out of his windscreen – and the back of the car was even worse.

‘Driving on the roads that day was difficult enough without having to peer through a gap no bigger than a letterbox to see where you’re going.’

This driver’s behaviour came on the same weekend a man was killed in a road accident in Essex after his car skidded off the road and struck a tree.

I don't believe that picture for a minute. Driving at 70 MPH would blow half of that snow off the roof, let alone the side windows etc

Epic Fail whoever is trying to have us over

And you would drive at 70mph in conditions like that, I think not...

My sources from the boys in blue tell me that the road had an average speed of 17mph when this photo was snapped...
