Loose / Rocking Front / Driver Seat

Dear All,

Talking to other members on this forum and elsewhere we came to the conclusion that this is not an isolated issue on the new Avensis.

My car has all electric leather front seats that have been replaced once (under warranty) because of the rocking issue, and one year later, the rocking started to reappear.

Please, all of you having the same problem, post here.

Also, if you managed to solve the problem, please share your solution with us.

I have a 2009 T27 Avensis SW and both my front seats rock a little. This is specially noticeable when adjusting yourself to the seat.

2010 T4 Avensis purchased new in June 2010.

I had this problem about a month after purchase.

I had a complete seat along with motorised base under warranty.

Yes, mine was replaced also, but now it started to rock again... Should I ask for another replacement, even though the car is no longer under warranty?

Same here, drivers seat base replaced last year (under warranty), now passenger seat is doing the same. Currently trying to get it replaced under warranty as, even though its a couple of months out of warranty its a known issue (judging by the replies to the thread and and already happening on the drivers side).
