Has anyone heard of a TTE Compressor for the Corolla T-SPORT being on the way? I got this piece of information from someone who works for TOYOTA in my country, Greece. It'll be launched (so will we I hope!!) sometime around May he said. Or have you heard of any other modification?:o

There are few austrian/german tuners working on kompressor kits for 2zze in Corolla TS... some report gettin 280 HP from the engine and 310 NM of torque... which is a lot for 2zz...

...however, Corolla TS is a FWD car, i cant even start to imagine how will it drive around town with all that power... it definetly needs some suspension tweaks as well... even now I can easily get wheelspin pulling away @ stoplight, at low revs....

well, there several Tuning Companies developing some kind of forced induction kits for our cars ( Corolla TS)...

there is also a swiss company... here is the site:

Well, actually the first thing you should buy after getting a forced induction kit is a Limited Slip Differential then some brake upgrades and a very basic suspension tweak...

That sounds cool Bobby, I checked it out although they are still under-construction. Do you know what happens with reliability, if our 1,8 litre engine yields so much power?

adding forced induction to the 2zzge will give just a little stress on the engine , but it doesn't matter if you keep everything in order, for example you must put the proper lubrication to your engine, adding high octane gas, and just take care of your engine, BUT trust me, you don't have to worry much about the reliability because Toyota Engines are the strongest engines on the planet and it's proved...

But you just have to take care of keeping the engine healthy... (adding proper oil, etc...)

Thanks! One more thing: Which would you suggest, the above mentioned, the Blitz one http://www.turbomagazine.com/features/0211tur_celica/

(assuming it fits on a corolla, since it's the same engine as the celica), or should be wait for any TRD or TTE one? And are you referring to engine oil, the supercharger's oil or both? I use Toyota's synthetic. Should I get a better one, like Castrol racing 5w/60?

well, my advice is for you to wait until more manufacturers reveal their products, because right now there are many companies developing products...

but If I had to choose between both, I will first wait and see how much does the swiss s/c kit costs and then make a choice... but on the other hand you have the Brand BLitz which is one of the top manufacturers of Japan, and Blitz is the one that has the a unique Ecu for their supercharger kit, the codes and info on the ecu were handed by Toyota to Blitz, soo, I dont know...

I'll wait but those guys at bermani say they can squeeze 272hp, and wow thats more than the blitz kit does!

as far as Oil, you have will have to do some research to see which type of viscosity your engine needs at the temperature you are located...

Im Sorry If my english its kinda slopy...
