am i right in thinkin that the late L-Reg 2.0 GT is the same spec as say an m-reg/n-reg 2.0 GT??

the early L's are the Rev 2?

i want a rev 3 with the better back lights, spoiler, splitter, handling

what else is better on the rev 3 compared to the rev 2?

Hey kiwimr2 thats a thread regarding the Tubby GTant looks like he is after an NA model. GTant the rev3+ altho good in retaining value are actually slower than the Rev1/2. Rev3 is still awsome but the rev1/2 is lighter, has better low down grunt (torque is same as rev3+ but its lower down the rev range which means its more accessable=no need to rev the nuts off it for power) and has closer gear ratios. Why dont you test drive and find out yerself m8!

Rev3's had ABS as standard, better suspension set-up and sligtly lower, all body trim colour coded, side impact protection (the main reason for added weight), active sound system as standard on UK cars as standard.

173bhp over 158 on Rev1/2's. As far as the Rev2's being quicker... I don't know as (not really racing) I left Nicola behind on a number of occasions - both cars stock. But when having a play with Ryan (oer misses :arrgg-matey: ) he left me standing, even at higher revs - his Rev2 modded (filter & zorst), mine stock. So make your own deuctions.

i'm rite up north not ur end m8 :(

There's a fair few peeps round reading w. '2's, & they often have meets u should go along and have a chat if u get the chance.

also whilst the rev 1 & 2 engines were of lower power they had the faster acceleration, and were a few mph faster top speed.

Another thing worth noting is that the jap versions were slightly more powerful.

have a quick spy here:
