Toyota Trueno, Cat And Alternator Warning Light Permantly On

about 3 weeks ago the alternator and CAT lights of my trueno ae101, flickered on and off on my dash board. Now the lights are permantily on and my A/C has stopped working completly. Any ideas??

Either your alternator is faulty, possibly just out of brushes and needs the bearings replaced (about 150,000km or so), or maybe the belt is loose if it drives the alternator and A/C, although there would normally be a horrible screeching sound, especially just after starting...
