Front Brake Noise.

The front brakes on my 8 month old Aygo are sounding a bit harsh, as if the brake pads were sandpaper. They are not worn to metal so i suspect the brake pad material is to blame.

I somehow doubt this will be covered by warranty so i will put it on the ramp at work and check them out.

Hi Phil,

If there is an issue other than through normal wear & tear (unlikely after just 8 months) then it will certainly be covered under warranty. By all means take a quick look, but I wouldn't get involved in any 'fettling' if I were you. Take into the dealer, report the symptons and let them sort it. It will be covered.
