Headlight Height Adjuster

Hi

I have a 1998 2.0 CDX and the offside headlight beam height adjuster (controlled by little rotary thing on right of dash) doesn't work. A mechanic took it apart and said that the electric motor is totally rusted up. I haven't asked Toyota how much a new one is, but you just know it's gonna be expensive....

Anyway, I want to get one from a breaker, but I wonder if all Avensis of that generation had the electric beam height adjuster, or just the CDX?

Unfortunately Cityautosalvage don't have the part. Toyota genuine new part costs over 82 quid!

I see it's a Bosch made unit and had hopes that it may be fitted to other makes of car. The Bosch part no appears to be 0 307 852. I did a few searches on Google, and a couple of references to Fords and Vauxhalls ... in Russian or Finnish or something indecipherable!

Anyway, can anyone recommend another breaker?

Thanks, I'll try that. I also tried Parts Gateway and 24/7 spares, both online, so fingers crossed.
