can't rem who has the red mk1 on these forums but he's got some pics up of it, and its been fully redone. that looks really nice. wish i was around when tem things first came out. woulda been nice to see new, shiny examples, w/o rust!

Got it for £700

Been garaged most of it's life and a full toyota service history :)

He was asking £800 but I offered cash then and there and felt like being a bit of a dell boy, and got away with it :)

It's way more fun that the 86 I had :)

That does look a nice car mate, i like the mk1's but my other half prefers the mk2. my uncle had a red mk1 a few years ago, didn't look as good as yours though. got him to let me have a little drive of it and it was a whole new world compared to the 1L metro i had at the time, it was like :fishyface: ! here is a pic of my current car (washed it yesterday and went out with the roof off B) )
