With high winds the car alarm activates. It is very annoying at night. Is there anyway to turn down the sensitivity ?

From memory that model has a microwave sensor probably fitted behind the radio,it is adjustable for sensitivity by turning the little screw which is behind the rubber plug.

I think you need a trembler sensor. Usually on the sounder itself.

Very many thanks Anchorman. Will try and have a close look at the system. Will need wind again to thoroughly check it out !!

If you are trying to find the "little screw which is behind the rubber plug" then I think emin-j is right.

If you remove the silver trim around the stereo by undoing the four allen screws. Then the two screws that hold the heater control panel on. This then hopefully reveals the box you are looking for? You may be able to access it without removing the heater controls but I know I saw it when I removed that heater control panel recently to replace some blown lamps.

Hope that helps, Lee
