Hiace 3L Auto Info Help Please

Hi guys - I'm looking for some general info, as, after some pretty exhaustive searching I'm struggling to come up with any solid answers. I have a 1995 2.8d auto Hiace import camper, with the 3L engine. My first question is is the 3L designation just for the 2.8d engine, or does it cover multiple displacements/turbo or NA etc? And if so, do all these engines share a common block etc, and do they all use the same fluids/service parts?

I've managed to find a copy of the workshop manual for the 2L and 3L engines, but a lot of the info is outdated now, so is there any thing anywhere to help in terms of which fluids I should be using? I'm planning on replacing the oil, auto transmission fluid and coolant shortly but can't find any definites on which exact fluids to use. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. :)
