Are The 2012 Bumper And 2006 Bumper Interchangeable ?

Hi, I need a new bumper, and was wondering ip the 2012 facelift model will fit my 2006 ? anyone tried this ?

I looked into this a few weeks ago when changing the rear bumper on my 2006 Aygo. I came to the conclusion that they were different based on the fact that they were different part numbers.

However I didn't get as far as trying the later bumper on the earlier car as it was easier in the end to get the correct part.

I seem to recall the bumper was about £130 but needed to be painted as well, so much easier if you can find a used one the correct colour to begin with.

Thanks for the info, was looking at replacing the front bumper, the lights are the same but I believe the bonnet was facelifted also ?

I'm not sure about the bonnet, but I do know that someone over here in The Netherlands did a swap from a 1st

to 2nd generation front bumper and he had to replace some of the items behind the bumper like air deflectors too...

I'd guess that the 3rd generation will be different then too...
