Diesel Aygo Cam Belt..when To Get It Done? And Broken Hazard Button

as per title..i have 47000 miles on the clock on a 07 plate and was wondering when the cam belt should be changed? any thing else i should look out for aswel? also my hazard button/switch has cracked, how easy is it to replace/ change?

5 years or 60000 miles on a diesel.

had the hazard button changed under waranty seems the plastic was not up to it.

According to the maintenance schedules on www.toyota-tech.eu the cambelt change on a Diesel Aygo is every 10 year / 150.000 miles.

Changing the hazard switch is an easy one:

Order 1 x 84332-0H011 which is the latest switch available and modified to prevent the cracking you have experienced.

Using a thin flat screwdriver to lever the fan speed control knob away from the dash.

Using a phillips head screw driver remove the small screw exposed by the above.

Now firmly grasp the lower edge of the console fascia and pull it away from the dash, it is clipped in and will be tight.

Unplug the radio & switches, pop out the hazard switch and now reverse to refit the new one.
